Meet me in St. Louis, meet me at the fair.
At this very moment I am in St. Louis at Washington University. I’m rubbing elbows with the celebrities of the journalism world and this experience is unlike any other. From the moment I (along with the rest of my Elections 2008 class) passed the gateway arch, it’s been a roller coaster. Once I figure out how to upload videos on to this blog, there will be footage I took of Lieberman, Fred Thompson and Chris Matthews. Anybody know the British guy from the Daily Show? He’s standing about two feet to my right.
I’m in the media filing center with hundreds if not thousands of other members of the press, including CNN and MSNBC, anxiously awaiting the beginning of this election’s only VP debate. We’ve got about one more minute to wait; Gwen Ifill the moderator is already on stage awaiting the arrival of the VP candidates. THIS IS CRAZY.
